Alice in Wonderland – production by M & M Theatrical productions, followed by Y6 workshop
Today the children watched the production of Alice in Wonderland from MM Theatre Productions. Following the fantastic show, the actors gave Year 6 a workshop in all aspects of theatre production including characters, costumes, scenery and stage directions. It is hoped that this will inspire the children and help them in our own end of year production later on this year. You can see pictures from the workshop below:
Our “harmonise project” was featured in The Bolton News. Please click on the picture to read the article.
The Harmonise project is run by an award winning charity called Music Action International. Four superb musicians worked with year 5 on their mission to bring the stories of refugees into the classroom in a sensitive and inclusive way.
The project was amazing – massive thanks to all the musicians involved!
Well done to everyone in Year 4 blue who gave a fantastic performance all about the Vikings. They practised their lines really well and should all be very proud of themselves!
Here is their performance of ‘Viking rock’
Year 5 are participating in an amazing music project. It educates and shares the journeys of refugee, asylum seeker and roma communities through music, language and culture.
The Harmonise project is run by an award winning charity called Music Action International and has had many successful schools take part in it’s mission to bring the stories of refugees into the classroom in a sensitive and inclusive way!
The finale will take place on Friday 16th March – we cant wait to see it!
