Well done to the children who are reading regularly at home! These children read almost every night at home and have earned a certificate and a book to take home 🙂 Keep it up!
To everybody else, see if you can accept the challenge of being one of our ‘regular readers’ in Summer term! Remember we would love for you to read 5 times a week at home.
The children in KS1 have been working so hard to improve their handwriting and letter formation this term. These children have all worked hard to make progress with their writing and we are very impressed! Lots of children were very happy to move up on our pirate ship 🙂
Well done to our regular readers who read at home every day! Let’s see if we can have even more in Summer Term!
KS1 have been working extremely hard on their handwriting this term. The children’s progress has been fantastic. We have celebrated the children’s success in a special assembly this afternoon. Those children who have achieved the required standard of handwriting have moved up our class pirate ships as they are on their way to becoming Perfect Pirate handwriters!
Well done Year 1!
Happy Easter! We hope you all have a wonderful Easter holiday. See you in April. Enjoy all the chocolate eggs! 🐣
Wow! The Easter eggs that Year 1 Green have made are absolutely egg-tastic! We are very impressed at how hard the children have worked to create their egg masterpieces. Well done to every single one of you! 🙂 They were all so fantastic that it was hard to pick a winner but we eventually decided that first place would go to….
Lacey! For her wonderful mermaid creation.
Our 2nd prize goes to…. Zack! With his great hungry caterpillar.
Ruby was our fantastic writer of the week last week in Year 1 Green! Well done! 🙂
Ruby wrote a great advert trying to sell Wilbur and used some super vocabulary.
