The children visited the church today to find out about the important artefacts they can find there. They completed a quiz by looking around the church to find clues.
Mr Birchall came to teach the children all about steam trains today. They even got to power some themselves. It was very exciting!
Here is the finished artwork on display that was completed as part of the link project with St Teresa’s. The children each painted a small heart on canvas. The hearts represent the shard values of both schools. The children talked about love and friendship, being kind and respecting each other.
Well done to the Year 2 children this week. They have written some fabulous information leaflets all about Kenya.
The children in Year 2 Green welcomed visitors from St Teresa’s, Little Lever today to take part in our link visit.
The children had great fun taking part in some games in the hall before splitting into two groups to paint and draw.
The first art task involved the children painting a small canvas each with a heart to represent the shared values of both schools. The second task was from the story of Only one me and the children drew pictures linked to the story.
They all had a great time making new friendships and being creative. Thank-you to everyone involved.
