We are working really hard on our Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling in Year 5! Here are our learning prompts in the classroom.
We had lots of fun at parent and child Artclub today! See you all in two weeks, bank holiday next Monday.
Jacob has written a lovely account of our visit to the air raid shelter in Stockport last week. He has organised his work well using sub headings and he has written in detail accurately using the past tense, third person.
Scarlett has done a great job of writing an action scene inspired by the book ‘Battle of the Beasts’ from the Beasts Quest series. She has used fabulous descriptive phrases and great dialogue to move the action forward.
We all had a great time at the parent and child art club today. We were inspired to create paintings in the style of Kandinsky!
The children watched a film trailer on Literacy Shed – Brave. Using this as a stimulus, they created pieces of descriptive writing about the landscape, hero and the bear. Harvey did a great job, well done!
