Writer of the week – Jacob

Jacob has written a lovely account of our visit to the air raid shelter in Stockport last week. He has organised his work well using sub headings and he has written in detail accurately using the past tense, third person.

Writer of the week – Scarlett

Scarlett has done a great job of writing an action scene inspired by the book ‘Battle of the Beasts’ from the Beasts Quest series. She has used fabulous descriptive phrases and great dialogue to move the action forward.

Writer of the week- Harvey!

The children watched a film trailer on Literacy Shed – Brave. Using this as a stimulus, they created pieces of descriptive writing about the landscape, hero and the bear. Harvey did a great job, well done!
