Congratulations to all our Year 6 children who received their certificates from project chameleon this morning.
This week, Year 6 took part in the Race for Life raising money for Cancer Research. You can see the pictures of this fantastic event.
Year 6 have today started their work with Project Chameleon which will run each morning for the rest of the week. This project will look at crime, the work of the police and the consequences of decisions that the children may make in the future.
Today in Year 6, we showed our knowledge of Christopher Columbus through ‘celebrity interview’ role plays. The children had researched his voyage, and used this information to ‘interview’ Christopher Columbus on a talk show. You can see the video below:
Following on from the Kosmic Krew performance in assembly, Year 6 received a workshop from the actors which looked at many aspects of theatre production. You can see the video below:
Year 6 made turkey and beef burgers in their food technology lessons this term.
Today is world book day and we have celebrated in Year 6 by wearing pyjamas or dressing as our favourite book character. We shared some of the stories we have been reading and talked about the characters we have dressed as. You can see the pictures below:
