Bart was born with a physical disability called Arthrogryposis. Doctors said he would never walk, may never have the strength to be able to sit up. Bart Has been able to adapt, enabling him to take part in many different activities and live a normal life. These activities include open water swimming, table tennis and driving.

Bart showed Year 5 what it was like to have his disability by setting them a few everyday tasks like writing and getting up off the floor.
Bart is truly an inspiration and it was amazing to learn about his life and the obstacles he has faced, but to truly believe that anything is possible as long as you have perseverance and resilience.
