Peapods Parent & Toddler Group

We held our annual summer party this morning for our final session and said an emotional goodbye to 11 of our children and 2 of our grandmas as they ‘graduated’ from Peapods to begin their new nursery and reception journeys (or in the grandmas’ case – a well deserved rest!). Please come back to visit us whenever you can and remember: ‘once a Peapodder, always a Peapodder’ ❤️🎓🫛

We had a great session this morning on our school field showing off our football skills!
It’s our final session next week which means it’s party day! Please bring a party food  item of your choice ( but please remember we are a nut and egg free school) ❤️🫛⚽️

We ignored the rain this morning and held our annual Peapod’s sports day indoors! We had lots of fun racing, throwing, jumping and catching and even had an egg and spoon race! Wiggle was delighted to hand out medals and certificates afterwards 🥰🏅🫛🐛

As today marks the start of the 2026 World Cup, we wanted to share the England flags we made at playgroup! We will be waving these and cheering England on throughout the competition (even more so because Mrs Smith has England in the school’s sweepstake! 😉) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️

Don’t forget, it’s our ‘Wiggle Wandle’ sponsored walk today to raise funds for our winter trip! Meet at the park at 9am 🥰 Wiggle and Wobble are very excited! 🫛🐛

Despite all the confusing ‘spring’ weather we’re having at the moment, we decided to to pot some violas today 🏵 Each member took one home to care for and watch grow 💕See you all next week for an Easter themed activity!   🫛✝️🐰

A huge thank you to all our wonderful members for your understanding during our relocation! We enjoyed a chilled out World Book Day in the school’s ICT suite this week 📚 See you all next week for our first session in the school hall 😀🫛🐛

We enjoyed a wonderful day out at Smithills Open Farm today! We got to feed cows, sheep and goats, sat with rabbits and chicks on our knees, saw owls, meerkat and pigs, and played on the park with our friends after enjoying our picnics! Both adults and children alike had the best day!
