The class had the choice to take part in some mindfulness colouring, drawing or journaling. It was lovely to give them a bit of time to slow down, chat, reflect and express themselves in their own way before the weekend.

Year 5 Green TT Rockstars

In Year 4, we worked incredibly hard to achieve some wonderful scores in the MTC. To help us continue to make excellent progress with our times tables knowledge in Year 5, we have started to use TT Rockstars again. Today we set up our accounts and played all of the different game modes and took part in individual and whole class challenges.

Year 5 Geography

Today, Year 5 have been exploring how Farnworth has changed over time as part of Geography unit Where We Live. We used maps to compare Farnworth today with Farnworth in the 1950s and in the 1890s! We also looked at the church which was once on our school site and how and why it has changed.
