This week Year 1 created their own four beat rhythms.







Today we enjoyed composing our own music by adding percussion to the poem ‘Rumble in the Jungle’. We had a great time using all the different instruments.

Our favourite part of music is when we get to become the composer!








Getting into the World Cup spirit. Our first Music lesson this half term on Trombones and already belting out “It’s Coming Home”.🎶🇬🇧
Maybe we’ll rap World in Motion next week.

Today we performed ‘The Friendship Song’ using the glockenspiels too.

This term in music, Minshall music are teaching year 3 Blue how to play the trombone, the past couple of lessons they have been practicing how to play certain chords and how to hold it the correct way.









We love singing this song and have enjoyed learning to play along on the glockenspiels. 🎶









Practicing our E, G, D, C and B notes on our Trombones.





Y3G in their music lesson learned about glockenspiel, how to hold the mallets between the thumb and index finger and strike the centre for the best sound. We also learned how to identify and play specific notes and copying rhythm.
















Today we were playing the trombone, learning to play the E, G, D, C and B notes.
