Year 3 – Bright Leaders

In session 2 of our Bright Leaders lesson with Chris Reddy, we discussed ‘leadership’ and ‘initiative’ and how we can lead ourselves and others. Some children identified themselves as ‘leaders’ and explained their reasons.

We started our new Bright Leaders booklets and discussed what we might take on our ‘Leadership Journey’ – courage, pride and confidence. We labelled our suitcase in the booklet with skills we need in our leadership journey.

This term in PE, Mr Wakes is teaching netball, this afternoon they learnt some different techniques of passing, they started off with a chest pass, then into bounce passes. Year 4 also learnt some basic rules of netball and how you can’t run with the ball and how to pivot when they do have the ball.
