In our science lesson today, Mr Simmons brought in a lambs heart to help us understand how the heart works as part of our animals including humans topic. The children were able to name the various parts of the heart and also to touch and feel the inside of the chambers. Thank you to Mr Simmons for bringing our learning to life.

Today, we discussed the ways that we are all shepherds or sheep at different points- we might even switch roles during the same day.

Year 3 – Visit to the Shree Swaminaraya Mandir

Year 3 visited a local Hindu temple to learn about how many Hindus worship in the community. We learned about the different variations of Hinduism and the ways in which they are unified by common beliefs. The children were incredibly respectful and asked and answered lots of insightful questions- we are really proud of the way they represented our school within the community.
