0 (0)

Year 2 Blue had an amazing day at Knowsley Safari Park! We enjoyed an interesting lesson on eco-systems, the amazing sealion show, the fascinating birds of prey exhibition and finally, the safari trail around the park where a crash of rhinos tried to charge at our coach! We really enjoyed seeing lots of intersting animals including lions, giraffes, llamas, deer, donkeys, baboons, bufallo, meerkats and many, many more!

Science Week- Litter Pick
0 (0)

Year 2 took part in a litter pick around school. Children looked for any litter which had been dropped on the floor.

Once back at school, children then sorted the litter into plastic and non-plastic.

The purpose of this activity is to find out how much plastic litter there was around our local area.

What a brilliant afternoon we have had completing our Skipathon to raise money for British Heart Foundation. There were some VERY tired children by the end of it!

We LOVED all the red t-shirts!

Thank you for all your sponsor money we can’t wait to see how much we have raised!

RE- Judaism

Today we learnt about the story of Chanukah. Jewish people celebrate the festival of Hanukkah in memory of when Judah Maccabee won the fight against the nasty King.  Many Jewish people also celebrate Hanukkah, it is generally a happy time when many Jewish people think of the Chanukah story and the miracles in it.
