Fleur has worked really hard in Literacy this week. Her presentation is beautiful.

Today we worked as a whole class to perform a poem by Michael Rosen called Rhythm of Life.

We created actions for the words and then filmed the performance.

Steven has worked hard to write a great rhyming poem. He contributed lots of great ideas to his group. Well done Steven.

Huda has written a lovely story recount on Jack and the Beanstalk. Well done.

In topic we are learning about where different continents are on the world map. We programmed the Beebot to find different places.

Today we acted out the story of The Good Samaritan and thought about the lesson that this parable teaches us. We should treat others as we wish to be treated ourselves.

As part of our Design Technology work the children have been practising their cutting skills ready for when they design and make their own cupcake package.

The children have been working hard on their basic number skills this week and have used the rekenreks to partition and add numbers.

Lydia completed a lovely piece of work on different sentence types. Beautiful presentation too. Well done.
