Year 3 Blue – Science – Measuring shadows

This week as part of our Science lesson, Year 3 Blue have taken their learning outside.

Year 3 are currently learning about light and this morning whilst the sun was shining, we took the opportunity to draw our shadows on the playground in chalk and took measurements to see how big they are.

We will be going out a couple more times during the day to measure the same shadows to determine whether the measurements will have changed according to the position of the sun.
