What a fun way to end our football sessions! Lots of skills were on show today and it was a mighty victory for Team Preston over Team Bolton!

Y3G learns all about standing long jumps using the correct techniques. We learned breaking the movement into simple, fun components: takeoff, bending the knees, swinging the arms back and landing.

Today in gymnastics we were practising jumping! We did pencil jumps, stars jumps and tuck jumps, working with a partner.

Year 2 blue were working on their star, straight and tuck jumps. They sequenced a string of 4 jumps and their partner had to copy. They were all working on their balance and the perfect landing and striking their best gymnastic pose.
