We really enjoyed meeting the author of Sophie Sixpence and joining in with reading the story. The children were great at joining in with the song linked to it too and listening so carefully. Teresa brought in two of her friends to help with the session and they all said how fantastic the children were. They gave the children a yellow balloon as a reminder of what happened in the story (a runaway hot air balloon).
