This week year 1 have completed their phonics screening check. We are incredibly proud of each and everyone of them for all the hard work and effort they have put in to this. Mindfulness in RE

To complete our RE topic about who Christians believe created the world, we recapped our learning and thought about how God might have felt on the seventh day. We then completed some mindful activities such as colouring, yoga and mindful breathing. Whilst we did this we thought about the things we are grateful to God for.

Year 1 Green land art

This half term we have been learning about Andy Goldsworthy. Today we completed our masterpiece by collecting natural objects on the field and then the children worked in groups to create their own land art inspired by Andy Goldsworthy! 🌺
