Qurat Manzoor This morning in our English lesson, we have been writing a persuasive letter with regards to the use of Palm oil and how deforestation is destroying parts of the rainforest which is causing much harm to the animals. We have been using some amazing vocabulary in the hope that sustainably sourced palm oil can be used instead.
Y3G focussed on “Communicating Our Feelings” and being more confident in saying “No”. We learnt some key phrases to help us set boundaries.

Christian believe everyone has special gift from God.Y3G learns about compassion in their class worship today. We need to act with kindness and care for others because God is compassionate. We need to show appreciation for each other.
Year 3 Green celebrated the national poetry day today by reading a poem together and focusing on alliteration consonants and how an alliteration poem creates a musical effect.
Y3 started their leadership development workshop with Chris Reddy (Bright Leaders). Y3 focused on listening and how to introduce ourselves to other people.
Y3G celebrated European Day of Language. Children came wearing Red, Blue and White colour clothes. Y3G attended Mrs.Buckley’s Cafe where they got a chance to taste the different food from different European countries.
Today we have been practicing reading with expression and intonation.
This week in RE lesson Y3G learned about how Christians interpreted looking after the world. In our group activity, every group in the class arranged the cards in descending order placing the most important value first and progressing to the least. We have very contrasting views. Then children drew the pictures and wrote about their individual approach how they would like to look after this world,
