Today we made a belonging star to share where we feel safe, included and happy for World Mental Health Day!







Today we finished our masterpieces for the half term! We used our finger painting and collage skills to make our artwork inspired by Gaudi: our artist of the half term. Take a look at our amazing work!



























This week we have continued our learning about Fletcher and the Falling Leaves. To recap our story we made lollipop puppets of the all the characters from the book and practiced retelling the story. We had some amazing performances from our class!









Today we practiced our underarm throwing and catching in PE. We practiced throwing to each other and then aiming for the hoops!









Congratulations to our Reading Champion for amazing reading at home all week and our Star Writer for an amazing piece of work using his finger spaces this week!

Today we went for a nature walk to spot all the signs of Autumn! We picked leaves, acorns and pine cones and talked about their colours and how they’ve changed! We finished off with some time in the park!














We have been practicing our mosaic skills using felt tips this week! Look at our fantastic lizards we made!








We used counters and beanbags today to show our understanding of parts and wholes. Great understanding today Year 1 Blue, we were very impressed!






Today we practiced our jumping in PE as well as our throwing and catching skills! We worked as a team and have done an amazing job as a result!
