Yesterday we used field work to observe, measure and record the human and physical features in the area surrounding our school. We recorded the land use to create our own sketch map to show what we have found.

Visit from Ian Bland – Poet

We started our poetry week with a visit from poet Ian Bland. Ian is a writer and performer of children’s poetry. The day started with an assembly, followed by a workshop. The children had a chance to write their own poems with some of the children getting the opportunity to perform them in front of the whole school this afternoon.
