The teams divided into pairs and one member had to direct the other member of their team who were blindfolded across an obstacle course. A lot of trust was required for this activity. Year 3 bright leaders
0 (0)

Year 3B checked in to see how they were getting on with their goal to carry out little acts of leadership. Well done to the children who have returned their booklets and shared how they felt during the challenge.

We thought about what qualities our super hero leader would have. We thought about what our super hero mission would be.

Encourage others to recycle, smile at others or help to keep the environment tidy,

Year 3 Blue – Art Project
0 (0)

This afternoon, Year 3 have been getting creative.

They were given a leaf template to cut out, and using wax, wrote on the leaf about their aspirations and what they would add to Farnworth to make it a better place.

The leaf was then painted over so that that their wax designs stood out.

The children had some amazing ideas and showed their caring sides, ideas such as wanting to be a teacher, owning a chocolate factory and cattery. To make Farnworth better some would show kindness, make country parks, more hospitals and homes for the homeless.

These art projects will be displayed at the new Farnworth library on the 14th March.
