In our science lesson, we are learning about rocks, different ways that rocks can form and about their properties. Today, our learning challenge was “which rock would be best to use to rebuild the Croods’ cave?” So Y3G put their science caps on and started their investigation by experimenting, observing and drawing conclusions. We have done 3 observations on each rock to analyse its properties and finding conclusion that which rock would be best to rebuild the Croods’ cave. Y3G thoroughly enjoyed and engaged in scientific experiment.

What makes a great community leader?
0 (0)

Today, Year 3 Blue were able to share some of their leadership skills with parents and talked further about what makes a great leader. Leaders must be good communicators, be able to manage their time, be resilient, be fair and be able to use their initiative.

The children works in team and pairs to complete a task which required them to listen to instructions carefully.

The children have been set a challenge to complete little acts of leadership at various levels over the next 2 weeks: they must try to do various acts at a personal, household and community level. Ask an adult to tick off when you have completed a task and return the booklet to school by the 10th March. Let’s see what we can achieve as leaders!
