Today Year 4 took part in a Sound Workshop with Mr B! We learnt about the history of sound and the science behind how sound is created!

Year 2 Science Workshop with Mr Bowden5 (1)
Year 2 had an amazing workshop with Mr Bowden this morning. The children observed and took part in several investigations that allowed them to work scientifically. They had great fun!

Year 5 STEM club made their circuits so that they could light up the model of the sun in the centre of their model solar systems. They made their own switches. The children also investigated the best way to support the planets in the model.

In year 5 we have been hosting a STEM club after school. In this club we are working on making scale models of our solar system. This will form part of our #farnworthmatters project when we host a science fair to show off our learning. Last week we started to make the model planets and background. In future weeks we will be building circuits and putting our models together.
