Year 2 26-27

Today we learned about the first moon landing and Neil Armstrong’s Apollo 11 mission. We completed a Now Press Play and designed our own spaceships.

To complete our RE topic about who Christians believe created the world, we recapped our learning and thought about how God might have felt on the seventh day. We then completed some mindful activities such as colouring, yoga and mindful breathing. Whilst we did this we thought about the things we are grateful to God for.

Today we practice yoga and mindful colouring in RE to take the time to enjoy and think about all of Creation and what we are grateful for.

This half term we have been learning about Andy Goldsworthy. Today we completed our masterpiece by collecting natural objects on the field and then the children worked in groups to create their own land art inspired by Andy Goldsworthy! 🌺
