Yesterday Year 3 had an amazing trip to Bolton Museum where they experienced a workshop to discover many facts about the Egyptians.
They took part in a human time line of the Egyptian era, dressed up in Egyptian clothing and had lots of fun looking around at all the artefacts.
They also watched a short film which explained the story that is written in hieroglyphs all around the walls and even saw a real life mummy in a tomb.
Year 3 were also able to look around the whole of the Museum afterwards and completed a worksheet based on questions relating to information in the Museum.
A thoroughly enjoyable experience with many happy faces.
