Mrs Cowell Earlier this year the children wrote Senses poems and Young Writers have chosen to publish them in their Senses Anthology! The children were so excited to receive their certificates today!

We had a very busy first day back! Phonics practice on Teacher Your Monster to Read in English and then we explored different art forms in our first lesson for our Arts Discover Award.

Wow! What a wonderful morning we have had on our Easter Memory Walk for Alzheimer’s. We were so lucky with the glorious weather and we are so proud of the children for completing their walk.
Thank you so much for all the donations we have had so far. We are overwhelmed as we have already far surpassed our target of £500. We will update the final figure as soon as we know! Thank you again!
The remaining children completed their geography field work this afternoon, adding human and physical features to their maps of Farnworth.

This week the children have been learning about multiplication and division. They used counters to make equal groups to show equal groups.

The day the children have been waiting for all half term finally arrived: we made our fruit salads! They were truly delicious and the children were so sensible using their knives to safely cut the fruit up.
