Y3G had their session with Chris Reddy- Bright Leaders this afternoon. We practised our listening, communication and cooperation skills. We have done a play- dough activity in pairs. We started with planning time. In our session we focused on levelling up with our leadership skills. We learned about strategic thinking and effective communication.

In P.E Y3G learned about gymnastics and balances. They learned how to control their balances and how the weight is transferred gradually so the balance is held easily. We practised together how to hold our balance with good control and move from one point to another.

In our oracy lesson we focussed on developing children’s speaking and listening skills. Our oracy lesson is linked to our ‘Pirate topic’. We all learned how to talk like a pirate, we listened and practised together. We heard some scary voices. Ahoy !!! “Shivers me timbers”

Y3G had their first session of this term with Chris Reddy, Bright Leaders today. We practised our listening and communication skills. This morning was our last session of Hummingbird Project. Today we focused on how to bounce back and show resilience when we think everything is going wrong. We talked about that making mistakes is a part of being a human. Although mistakes can make us disappointed, they also have a superpower as they can give us opportunities to learn something new so that we can improve in future. There is always someone is better than us but it doesn’t mean we feel that we aren’t good enough and give up. We also did the Hula Hoop Challenge to show encouragement and resilience when we work in groups. Y3G also drew posters describing The Hummingbird project that which things they liked the best about this project.
