Jennifer Thompson After learning about weddings in Christianity and Islam last week, this week we learned about what Jewish weddings are like. We acted out a Jewish wedding together and discussed how some parts are similar to Christian, Muslim and non-religious weddings too!

For Mental Health Day we learned about our emotions and how they show at different times. We drew ourselves feeling happy and sad and wrote about when we experience these emotions!
Today Year 1 began creating their masterpieces in art using paint and their fingers as paint brushes. We can’t wait to see the end result next week!

Today Year 1 Blue learned about marriage and the promises people make to each other when getting married. They learned about marriage in the Christian and Muslim faiths and what it means to them. Then they made a friendship card, promising their friends how they will be a good friend to them.
Today we listened to a Now Press Play, talking about all the different signs of Autumn in science!
