Today we retold the story of the Little Red Hen to each other!

Our last throwing and catching lesson of the half term!

After learning about weddings in Christianity and Islam last week, this week we learned about what Jewish weddings are like. We acted out a Jewish wedding together and discussed how some parts are similar to Christian, Muslim and non-religious weddings too!

For Mental Health Day we learned about our emotions and how they show at different times. We drew ourselves feeling happy and sad and wrote about when we experience these emotions!

Today Year 1 began creating their masterpieces in art using paint and their fingers as paint brushes. We can’t wait to see the end result next week!
