We used counters and beanbags today to show our understanding of parts and wholes. Great understanding today Year 1 Blue, we were very impressed!

Another sunny PE lesson!
the children worked on jumping today, ensuring they landed on two feet. We played lots of games that helped us to practice our jumps and we finished off with a game where the children bounced the ball to one another.

Today we practiced our jumping in PE as well as our throwing and catching skills! We worked as a team and have done an amazing job as a result!

Well done to our amazing certificate winners this week, we are so proud of you in Year 1 Blue!

Congratulations to our amazing writer of the week and super reading champion!

What a fantastic afternoon exploring autumn on the field!

In art this afternoon the children used their finger tips as paint brushes and explored different colours, shapes and patterns. We can’t wait to put all our skills together to create our Gaudi masterpieces soon!

It has been another busy day in year 1. The children have started reading new story in English, Lost in the Toy Museum. They have been rehearsing retelling the story to each other using a story map.

Then this afternoon the children have practiced logging on to the laptops and using the mouse to click and drag objects.
