What did you observe in the micro habitat?
Year 2 Green have been out on a short local walk to the field to observe micro habitats. We observed hedges, undergrowth, grass, tree trunks and leaf litter. One of the micro habitats had just been changed by humans as a large tractor had been to cut the grass. We recorded our findings. We noticed a pattern: the living things in micro habitats are all small.

The children had a visit from Mr B today and they looked at examples of real Victorian artefacts such as a camera and record player. They also had the opportunity to dress up in some fun costumes.

A few weeks ago as part of Eco week, Year 3 Blue and Green planted some Cucumber seeds in the hope of producing some lovely cucumbers.
Here are the cucumbers progress, they are growing too big for their pots and will be re potted shortly, you can see the tiny little baby cucumbers appearing.
