This Thursday, our Year 5 classes had a wonderful time celebrating the European Day of Languages through hands-on, creative activities. Moving between classrooms, students explored different countries and cultures in engaging ways.
In Finland, they learned about the Northern Lights and created vibrant sketches inspired by the Aurora Borealis. In Spain, they explored Antoni Gaudí’s architecture, designing colorful drawings inspired by his famous works. The journey ended in France, where students practiced a few French phrases and created artistic representations of landmarks like the Eiffel Tower.
As you can see from the photos, the children had a fantastic time embracing new cultures and learning through fun and engaging activities.
