What a fantastic week we’ve had! From fizzing fireworks to scrumptious sprinkle sparklers – we’ve done it all! In Topic we learnt all about Guy Fawkes and The Gunpowder plot and replicated his plan on a very small scale in Science where we observed some chemical reactions to make fizzing fireworks. We made ribbon sparklers in Art & DT before using them in English to mark make and trace sounds. In maths, we used pictures of rockets to create repeated patterns and used the iPads to draw pictures of colourful displays in Computing – even colourful Wiggle got involved during Wiggle Worship! Throughout the week we have used our PSHE time to embed the importance of safety during bonfires and firework displays. We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and we will see you all next week where we our theme will be World Nursery Rhyme week.
