Visit to the Shree Swaminarayan Mandir, Bolton.
This morning and as part of our RE curriculum based on Hinduism, Year 3 visited a Hindu Temple in Bolton.
It was fascinating to learn about this religion, and the temple was beautiful and full of amazing hand painted pictures on the ceiling and the walls and a stunning shrine at the front for Hindus to worship. We were made to feel very welcome.
